Designed by McCray & Co., the space is modeled after Tokyo's yokocho (narrow alleyway bars) and tachinomiya (traditional standing bars), blending classic Austin energy with Japanese street culture.\n\nA defining feature of the bar is its playful, extensive cat theme. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a giant maneki-neko (beckoning cat) holding the state of Texas, custom-designed by Blue Genie. Inside, the walls are lined with smaller maneki-nekos designed by local Austin artist Teruko Nimura, while the back of the bar features custom black cat wallpaper.\n\nThe menu focuses heavily on craft highball cocktails, Kirin Ichiban Cold Caps, DIY Chu-Hi, and a curated selection of sake and beer.
