As the sun sets, the Mississippi Riverfront transforms into a scenic escape from the crowded streets. Imagine the riverfront as it once was, lined with steamboats and the bustle of trade. Today, you can stroll along the Moon Walk, a promenade built in 1975 and named after former Mayor Maurice Landrieu.

It's a prime spot for dockside dining or a riverboat cruise under the stars. If you're near the Riverwalk, you can even find Spanish Plaza, a gift from Spain to the city back in 1976. It's the perfect place to catch a breeze and watch the city lights reflect on the water before the night truly begins.
