For a scenic spot to get some movement in, head to Alamo Square Park. This four-block park sits at the top of a hill, offering a natural incline that's perfect for a brisk walk or a light jog. While most people come here to photograph the Painted Ladies—those famous Victorian mansions along the perimeter—the park is also a great place for active leisure.

It features walking trails and grassy, tree-shaded slopes that overlook downtown San Francisco. Whether you're using the hills for a bit of interval training or taking a slow stroll through the park, it's a classic spot to combine a bit of exercise with some of the most beautiful architecture in the city.
