Step into a Victorian dream at the Conservatory of Flowers. Completed in 1879, this stunning wood-and-glass structure is the oldest building in Golden Gate Park. It was one of the first municipal conservatories in the United States, designed to welcome visitors into a world of tropical beauty regardless of the weather outside.
Inside, you'll find about 1,700 species of aquatic and tropical plants. If you're planning a visit, keep in mind that admission is free for everyone on the first Tuesday of every month, making this botanical treasure accessible to all who want to wander through its greenery.
