On the corner of NE 41st and University Way, the Floyd and Delores Jones Playhouse stands as a testament to Seattle's artistic soul. Originally a storehouse remodeled into a theater in 1930, it began its life as the Seattle Repertory Playhouse. For years, it was a major center not just for drama, but for left-wing politics, serving as a home for WPA projects and the Negro Federal Theater Projects.

Tonight, the theater continues to bring people together, seating 210 guests around a thrust stage for intimate, compelling performances. It is a place where the nightlife is defined by the flicker of the stage lights and the shared silence of an audience caught in a powerful story.
