If you want to truly understand the story of Texas, the Texas Collection at Baylor University is where you go. Founded in 1923 from a gift of several hundred items from Dr. Kenneth Hazen Aynesworth, it's now the largest privately held collection of Texana in the world.

We're talking nearly 200,000 volumes, over a million photographs and thousands of oral history tapes. It's a massive vault of memory for the entire state, serving as an archival research center for both the Baylor community and the public. It's a place where the history of Texas is preserved in every photograph, map and page, ensuring the state's legend continues to be told.
