Gyde helps real groups choose places and events together. Keep crew messages useful, safe, and respectful.
Do not post
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse.
- Hateful content attacking people based on protected characteristics.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual sexual content.
- Graphic violence, credible threats, or instructions for violent wrongdoing.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, malware, or repeated unwanted promotion.
- Private information about another person without permission.
- Anything illegal or intended to facilitate illegal harm.
Reporting and blocking
Use the menu on a crew message or member to report it. Reported messages are hidden from you immediately and enter our moderation queue. Blocking hides that account's social content and removes friendship connections. You can manage blocked accounts under You > Blocked accounts.
What Gyde may do
We may reject text before publication, quarantine or remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts. We consider context, severity, repeated behavior, and credible risk. Automated checks help prioritize work but do not automatically dismiss user reports.
Appeals and urgent safety issues
Email drewb97@gmail.com with the subject "Safety report" or "Moderation appeal." We aim to review in-app safety reports within 24 hours. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
